I do care for you to know how the eye evolved. It could have started as a single light-sensitive cell, which would afford a greater chance of detecting predators. More cells like this could have evolved, and so on.

As for altruism, humans used to live in small communities, in which many members would be (blood) related. So they would have shared many of the same genes (my sister has 50% of my genes)

Are you kidding me? The bible is the king when it comes to over exaggerations, false claims, and just bullshit in general. The bible is NOT meant to be taken literal. It's simply several stories (albeit stories about violence, corruption, brutality, ect.) to help you lead a peaceful life even though there is nothing peaceful or rational about it. I mean...it was written by man during the dark ages for the sole purpose of needing a little "pick me up" and inspiration.
